Threasa Hayes sunrise of life began May 1, 1929 in Tallulah, Louisiana, born to the late Rube Robinson, Sr. and Annie Jenkins Robinson. She completed her education in Tallulah, Louisiana. She started her journey into Las Vegas in 1954 with her husband of 50 years Esau Hayes who preceded her in death on September 11, 2000. She worked as a porter at Caesars Palace until her retirement in 1995.
Her salvation came in 1945 under the leadership of the late Elder Garfield Israel, and then later moved her membership to Pilgim Rest Baptist Church under the late Rev. E. C. Kline. To be with her husband she united with Grace Immanuel Baptist Church until God saw a beautiful rose and called her home.
On January 12, 2011 at 8:47 a.m., Threasa's sunset took place completing her journey. She leaves behind her only child Alberta Williams and son in law Cliff Williams, her sister Agnes Duffey, nine grandchildren: Gary Robinson (Jennifer), Gregory Robinson, Timothy Robinson (Yolanda), Debbie Robinson (George), La Tasha Bell (Donnie Sr.), Ebony Heathman (Jermaine), Krystal Williams, Shalanda Williams, and Threasa Williams. She was blessed to enjoy 22 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and her Grace Immanuel Church Family to remember her legacy.
