Susan Jeane Compton

Susan Jeane Compton passed away October 1, 2010 in Henderson, Nevada.  She was born September 21, 1946 in Gary, Indiana to Paul and Ruth O’Neil Darling. She married Craig Richard Compton in 1972 in Mishawaka, Indiana.  They moved to Henderson two years ago from Sparks, Nevada.

Susan was baptized Lutheran and had a love for God that showed towards people.  She enjoyed being a wonderful mother and wife she was a gift from god and blessed anyone that ever was in her presence.  She was hard working and owned her own janitorial business that she ran with her sons when she was in Sparks, Nevada.  She called it Compton and Son’s.  She also did upholstery sewing and many Crafts. The thing that she loved the most was spending time with family where she was making everyone happy.

She is survived by her husband, Craig Compton of Henderson, Nevada; four sons Robert (Janet) Hagglund of Mishawaka, Indiana, Ryan (Darla) Hagglund of Sparks, Nevada, Craig Compton Jr. of Henderson, Nevada, Keith  Compton of Boulder City, Nevada; Two Brothers Terry Darling of sun city California And Danny Darling Of El Paso Texas  and also three beautiful grandchildren Isabella, Ethan, and Emmaleigh Compton.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Christian Church in Boulder city on Buchanan Blvd, Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 3: 00 pm.  Funeral arrangements are under the care of Boulder City Family Mortuary (702)294-3000.
