He was preceded by Parents~ Alfred Lanton Sr & Virginia Webb; Brother~ Tommy "Cowboy" Lanton & Sister~ Betty Bryant also to mention Stepson~ Reginald Slaughter Sr & Step Grandson~ Reginald Slaughter Jr.

Alfred Lanton Jr, also affectionately known as, "Charlie Brown", was born to Alfred Lanton Sr. & Virginia Webb on the Lord's Day of September 26, 1942 in Friars Point Mississippi  where he lived his youth.

Alfred started his education @ Friars Point Public School, Later attending Aggie High School. He met and married his wife Olivia Marshall at the age of 21, at the age of 26, He moved to Las Vegas Nevada where he made a multitude of new friends and these are the same friends that nicknamed him, "Charlie Brown"!

"Charlie Brown's" career began @ Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino, He later transitioned his Career to Desert Inn Hotel & Casino until his Retirement in 2002.

"Charlie Brown" was a man who Loved his Family, Loved to make himself & others Laugh, and Loved to Cook!

And unfortunate chain of Events separated Olivia and Alfred in 1969, it was then that Alfred met another Spiritual Partner. Her name was Barbara, their relationship lasted until 1985 where he helped raise Torri and Reggie together, and their Grandchildren Starece and Reggie Jr.

Others followed adopting Alfred as "Daddy" & "Paw Paw", Especially Honoring Tammy Savage and her Daughter Tamara.

His Last 4 years have been spent walking in the name of the LORD while attending Victory Baptist Church Devoutly! "Charlie Brown", you will be sorely and deeply missed!
