Andrei Lovett, 46, beloved husband, father, friend and brother, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Thursday, October 13, 2011, in the Arc Dome Wilderness, Washington Canyon, Nevada, while doing something he loved… hunting.
Andrei was born September 5, 1965, in Reno, Nevada. When Andrei was 2 years old his family moved to San Marcos Texas, where he was raised with his 9 siblings then as a teen they re-located back to Hawthorne, Nevada, where Andrei met the love of his life, Valerie Van Arsdale. Andrei and Val were married on August 3, 1991, and celebrated more than 25 years of life together. Andrei and Val settled in Reno, Nevada, had two wonderful kids together and opened their successful landscaping and rock wall business in 1998, Lovett Landscaping. Andrei was first and foremost a family man, an incredibly successful business man, and a great friend to many. Andrei enjoyed hunting, fishing, distilling fine whiskey, hanging loose in Hawaii, and giving his friends a hard time.
Andrei was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Lovett, his father-in-law, Ralph Van Arsdale and his mother-in-law, Joanie Van Arsdale. Andrei is survived by his wife, soul-mate, best friend and business partner, Valerie Lovett, his cherished children: son, Buck Lovett, and daughter, Madison (Maddy) Lovett, all of Reno, Nevada. Andrei is also survived by his mother, Nita Lovett, father, Larry Lovett, his siblings Blake (Nancy) Brewton, Patty (Stan) Shinault, Susan (Dwaine) Dietrich, Beau Brewton, Shawna Lovett, Lisa (Ken) Vogel, Larry (Lisa) Lovett, Jr., Jason Lovett, Catie Lovett, Michelle Lovett, and numerous nieces and nephews, especially Jake Snyder, whom he adored.
He is also survived by his best friends, who were like his brothers: Jeff Owens, Chris Gabica, Davy Jones, Tim Owens, Kevin Bandoni, Philip Cammarata, Mauro Viani, Mike Trujillo and Jimmy Whitlock.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday October 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Ross Burke and Knobel, 2155 Kietzke Lane, Reno, Nevada. A reception will follow the service at the River Oaks Country Club in Verdi, Nevada. Directions will be provided at the service.
